Stroller Recalls
Unfortunately, although manufacturers do their best to put out safe products, stroller recalls do occur from time to time. Major recalls by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission are usually announced in the newspapers, but if you want to make sure you hear about them, you can sign up for the recall email list at
www.recalls.gov
or
www.cpsc.gov
It's also a very good idea to fill out and mail the registration card that comes with any stroller you buy so that the manufacturer can contact you with recall information and any repair kits that you may need in case of problems with your stroller.
