Best Baby Strollers

Which are the best baby strollers on the market today? There are so many models available for purchase in stores and online, and the range in quality and price is huge. Our aim at this website is to help you wade through the multitude of choices and find which stroller will fit your family's lifestyle the best.

After you've determined specifically what your baby stroller needs are (Do This First!), and you've familiarized yourself with the various types of strollers, now is the time to look at what the experts say are the cream of the crop.

Following are the lists of the best strollers of 2009/2010 recommended by consumer advocates Denise and Alan Fields in their book Baby Bargains, the best baby product consumer guide that I have encountered in my research for this website.

Best Double Strollers

Do you have twins or two children close in age? Then check out the Best Double Strollers and Twin Strollers page for the lists of this year's best double and twin strollers in all categories.

Where to Find the Best Deals

Although discount stores such as Target and Wal-Mart sell baby strollers for less than the baby specialty stores, the best deals can often be found on the Internet, since strollers are easy to ship and there's lots of competition.

So, once you've decided which stroller you want to purchase - by doing research on the Internet - go to a store and try it out (if you can), then buy it online for a lot less.

Shipping can be expensive, so see if you can get an online coupon (a special discount) from websites such as EdealsEtc.com or FatWallet.com. The money you save doing this can then be used for something else. Happy shopping!

Are You Trying to Lose Your Baby Weight?

Did you know that 80% of weight loss (or really, fat loss) is diet, and only 20% exercise? I was shocked to learn this! We're constantly encouraged to start time-consuming exercise routines that take a lot of energy and effort - and aren't always pleasant - yet they burn a very small amount of calories in the big picture! Controlling your calorie intake is the only way to achieve considerable and lasting fat loss!

I've been pregnant twice, the first time with my daughter and the second time with my twin boys, so I know what it's like to gain pregnancy weight and want to take it off! It's been a struggle for me to lose those last 15 pounds and I've tried out different diets and exercise programs for several years without much luck.

However, I finally found a program that has worked and is really easy to do. It's called Eat Stop Eat and it is wonderful! It was designed by Brad Pilon, a man who has an honors degree in nutrition and has worked in research and development for the weight loss supplement industry. He is also an avid body-builder.

Eat Stop Eat is a program of flexible intermittent fasting. It so simple (no counting points or calories), and you can eat whatever you want for 5 or 6 days a week, within reason, of course!

This program does encourage some exercise, but not hours of boring and useless cardio. Did you know that cardiovascular exercise doesn't burn a great amount of calories for all that effort? Yes, it is good to do some cardio for the other health benefits it brings, but burning calories shouldn't be your main goal for doing it. Pilon only recommends doing strength training once or twice a week to maintain and build muscle tissue, which burns lots of calories 24/7, making fat loss even faster!

If intermittent fasting seems too much of a hardship for you, you might want to read about the No S Diet , which I follow on the days I'm not fasting. I was actually following this way of eating for a couple of months before I came upon Eat Stop Eat, and it made the intermittent fasting easier, since I got out of the habit of eating many times during the day.

Good luck with whichever weight loss method you choose to follow!
